Privacy notice

When you complete a meal planning request we collect the answers you choose to give: your ZIP code and optional town, what you would like help with, how you like to eat, any calorie or protein targets you already have, the kinds of ingredient restrictions you want to discuss, your household and meal count, your taste notes, and your first name, email address and, if you ask for a call, your phone number.

Written details about ingredients you avoid, cannot tolerate or are allergic to are optional. We only receive them if you tick the box agreeing to share them. When you do, we record the version of this notice and the date and time of that agreement.

We do not ask for diagnoses, medication, medical history or payment details through this website.

We use your answers to review your request, to reply to you, to discuss a menu and a personal quote, and to arrange delivery if you decide to go ahead. Allergy answers are flagged for manual safety review so they are read by a person before any food is discussed.

We do not use your answers for advertising, we do not sell them, and we do not add you to unrelated marketing.

Your request is stored in a private database. Only people with an explicit staff account for Tailor & Thyme can open it. Members of the public, including you, cannot list, read, change or delete records through the website after sending a request.

Written ingredient details are stored separately from your contact details and carry their own, stricter access rule.

We use service providers to host the website and the database. They process the data on our instructions. No email service is connected yet, so no notification or confirmation email is currently sent.

We do not run analytics, advertising trackers or session recording on the questionnaire, the confirmation page or the staff pages.

The retention period has not been set yet. It will be stated here before requests are stored for real, and it will be applied to requests from that point onward.

You can ask us to delete your request at any time by replying to the conversation with Steph or writing to us using the contact details we give you.

Every question apart from your ZIP code, first name and email is optional. You can skip the ingredient details entirely and discuss them privately instead. You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it.

A public contact address for privacy questions will be published here before requests are stored for real.
